Policy Manager and Policy Associate for Used Card and Two-Wheeler
Position Responsibilities :
List in order of importance the major responsibilities of the job and the percentage of time spent on activities/Sub activities
1. Strategy formulation, product and policy design - 40%
- Should work closely with Sr Management and provide assistance on formulation and implementation of Risk strategy on Car loans
- Work closely with business team and provide concrete inputs on development and or improvement of existing product
- Devise credit and risk policy
- Management buy in and ensure implementation.
- Preparing SOPs on various aspects relating to the underwriting / credit
- Co-ordinating with IT team in the development of LOS / LMS
2. Portfolio Monitoring - 30%
- Devise information dashboards covering all aspects of portfolio and productivity and methodology for information dissemination at appropriate levels.
- Undertake periodic portfolio reviews with respective stakeholders to identify the bottle neck and make action plan.
- Anticipate risks due to change in business and regulatory environment and take corrective action
- Engage with local intermediaries to undertake detailed market survey.
- Identify areas of concern and pockets to maximize business opportunity
- Keep updated with market and industry specific changes and bring about changes in policy and product and maintain competitiveness
- Regulatory reporting to be done as per standards after checking
- Ensure control over credit loss in the portfolio
- Closely monitor flow of accounts and drive collection team to collect the accounts
- Ensure delinquency ratio within the permissible limits
3 Audit & Compliance - 20%
- Ensure Team is updated and trained with regards to risk and compliance norms
- Lead and engage with regulators for any kind of audits and inspection.
- Ensure minimum no of audit observation
- Devise the Risk Control matrix covering all the stages of process.
- Undertake periodic audit of branches to ensure process compliance and control effectiveness
- Identify the process improvement and standardization opportunities
4 Risk Budgeting, Hiring & Vendor Management - 10%
- Ensuring the Hiring is as per the budgeted numbers and attrition levels are minimal.
- Monitoring the vendor performance (Legal, Technical, CPV etc.) on regular basis.
