Policy and Process Management:

- Oversee the policies and processes related to personal loans for the retail portfolio.

- Develop and implement product programs to enhance the personal loan offerings.

Asset Quality and Analytics:

- Conduct regular asset quality reviews and provide analytical insights to identify risks and opportunities.

- Recommend actions based on these insights to improve asset quality and manage risk.

Policy Review and Adaptation:

- Ensure that credit policies and risk acceptance criteria are reviewed and updated regularly.

- Adapt policies in response to changes in legal, regulatory, business, or market conditions.

Portfolio Management Initiatives:

- Drive initiatives to manage the personal loan portfolio effectively through the credit cycle.

- Collaborate with product managers, credit systems teams, credit operations, and collection teams.

Credit Systems Integration:

- Work with the credit systems support team to implement key credit policy criteria into the credit evaluation systems.

Risk Escalation and Management:

- Timely escalation of significant risk issues to business management for appropriate action.

- Follow up on action plans arising from risk assessments, control gaps, regulatory inspections, and other risk-related issues.

Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs):

- Ensure RCSAs are completed on time and include appropriate action plans to address any identified control gaps.

Stakeholder Communication:

- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to communicate changes in policies, processes, and risk management strategies.

- Provide training and support to teams on new policies or updates to ensure smooth implementation.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:

- Monitor and ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements specific to personal loans.

- Liaise with regulatory bodies as necessary and ensure that the organization meets all compliance standards.

Performance Metrics and Reporting:

- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to personal loan products and portfolio performance.

- Prepare regular reports for senior management on portfolio performance, risk status, and policy compliance
