Policy Head - Auto Loans - Bank

Job Objective:

The person will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing and roll out Auto Loan Policies, managing the entire Auto Loan Product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. The role holder is responsible for developing; Reviewing and making amendments in Auto Loan Product, Policy and Process from sourcing to disbursement. The role holder will also be responsible for Ensuring compliance of program parameters, Operating guidelines and RBI circular.

Broad responsibilities of the role include:

- Proposes amendments to Policy for better implementation and functioning.

- Visits location and interacting with Sales and local Risk to understand issues faced in current process or programs.

- Suggests amendments in existing process based on feedback from line team and market benchmarking.

- Ensuring compliance of program parameters, Operating guidelines and RBI circular.

- Reviews programs triggers on quarterly basis to ensure compliance with all policy triggers.

- Reviews operating guidelines on regular basis and changes done wherever applicable.

- Ensures compliance as per RBI circular.

- Monitors, Trains and Overviews work of Risk Analysts.

- Attends queries of Sales and CAD team on daily basis and mentoring them to follow correct process.

- Conducts training on policies and programs for line team on new processes or programs.

- Responsible for Automation and digitization of programs and processes to minimize cost and TAT.

- Works on Loan Operating System with Intellect team for end-to-end process solution.

Expectations/Requirements:

- Graduate in any Discipline, Preferable CA / ICWA / MBA Finance

- Minimum 10+ years in policy formation, should have handled policy / risk for New Car Loans / Used Car Loans / TW
Automation and experience in assistance in development of Scorecards, BRE and LOS will be an added advantage.

- Good interpersonal & communication skills.

- Ability to manage large teams & external business and/or vendor partner relationships
