Position Overview
The Finance Business Partner (FBP) plays a key role in supporting business decision-making by providing financial insights, analysis, and strategic recommendations.
The FBP works closely with the business to align financial goals with overall organizational objectives, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and driving profitability.
This role bridges the gap between finance and operational teams, acting as a trusted advisor to guide financial performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Provide in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting support to business leaders
- Prepare financial reports, variance analysis, and identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance
- Lead or support the annual budgeting process, ensuring budgets align with corporate goals
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for financial information, offering clear and actionable insights to non-finance stakeholders
- Influence decision-making through financial expertise and effective communication.
Manage Financial Operations
- Ensure timely vendor payouts
- Ensure compliance with rules pertaining to TDS and GST
- Work with collections team to ensure timely customer receipts
- Monitor key business drivers and recommend actions for improvement
Process Improvement & Governance
- Ensure financial controls, governance, and compliance with corporate policies and standards
- Identify areas to enhance financial efficiency through automation or process optimization
Key Skills And Qualifications
- Proven experience in a finance business partnering role, with a strong understanding of financial principles and business operations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
