Desired qualifications and experience :

CA/ICWAI ( Inter/final), MBA with 4 to 7 years- experience in financial accounting & reporting in Insurance industry.

a) Preparation of financial statements both STAT

i. Monthly financial statement preparation as per IRDA regulation

b) Review of Chart of Account (COA) mapping

i. Periodical review of the COA to ensure proper disclosure in the Financial statements (STAT )

ii. Periodical review of all the analysis codes to ensure accurate reporting at Product & Channel level

c) Co-ordination for the statutory audit

i. SPOC for the PMLI & the statutory audit team w.r.t. the quarterly & annual statutory audit

d) Analysis

i. Monthly analysis of the key business indicators

ii. Monthly Earning walk vs Plan/Projection

iii. Board and AC deck preparation

iv. Preparation of IRDA related reports - monthly, quarterly and Annual

e) Process improvements

i. Identifying areas of process streamlining and automation and working towards closure of the same

ii. Ensure compliance with IRDA regulations, Accounting standards and Ind AS.
