Role Description:
Responsibilities:
- Performance Monitoring and Coaching: Regularly monitor the performance of team members, provide constructive feedback, coaching, and training to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Business Strategy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement effective business strategies and action plans to drive sales growth and market penetration in the Guwahati region.
- Sales Target Achievement: Take ownership of team sales targets and implement strategies to ensure consistent achievement of these goals.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs within the team and facilitate or conduct training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, compliance, and industry best practices.
- Performance Reporting and Analysis: Track and analyze team performance metrics, identify trends, and provide regular reports to senior management on team achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
- Collaboration with Senior Management: Collaborate closely with senior management to align team objectives with overall company goals and contribute to the development of broader organizational strategies.
- Client Relationship Management Support: Provide guidance and support to team members in building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure that the team operates in full compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process for new financial advisors, ensuring the team has the right talent to achieve its objectives.
- Problem Solving and Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or challenges faced by team members, providing necessary support and guidance.
- Foster a Positive Team Environment: Cultivate a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented team environment that encourages growth, innovation, and high performance.
- Stay Updated on Market Trends and Products: Continuously update knowledge on insurance products, financial market trends, and competitor activities to effectively guide the team.
Qualifications:
- Sales and Business Development Expertise: Strong understanding of sales principles, business development strategies, and the ability to drive revenue growth.
- Knowledge of Insurance Products and Market Trends: Comprehensive knowledge of various insurance products (e.g., life insurance, health insurance, general insurance) and a good understanding of current market trends in the financial services sector.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence, and effectively interact with team members, clients, and senior management.
- Ability to Work Independently and Handle Multiple Tasks: Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
