PMS Research Head - Private Equity Firm

We are looking forward for a suitable candidate for the position of PMS Research Head role for the Private Equity Firm based in Mumbai.

The position is responsible for generating quality investment ideas and tracking portfolio companies for its PMS funds.

Summary of Job responsibility :

1. Analyze and recommend companies for investment from the assigned industries/sectors universe

2. Preparing investment notes on companies and tracking sector specific companies / industries.

3. Analyze financial data and public records of companies, and use this analysis to determine the value of the company's stock and to predict the company's future financial picture.

4. Financial modelling: input data into proprietary financial models to create charts, dashboards and supporting material

5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry happenings and current events.

6. Attend management con calls & Analyst meets & gather insight on company updates/events

7. Conduct primary research from industry sources

8. To effectively use database software's like Capitaline, Bloomberg etc.

- Exposure to Equity research domain on the buy side with understanding of multiple sectors in the small & midcap space
