PMO - Risk Data & Tech
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to support the implementation of Risk Management and Data Analytics related transformation initiatives by offering effective project management support
- Will require the candidate to interact closely with very senior stakeholders, thus demanding superior stakeholder management acumen
- Be an active advisory and in-house consultant to the stakeholders in all regulatory interpretation, gap analysis
- Be an execution partner to the stakeholder; and help mitigate project risks
- Manage the program by coordinating across the firm to develop the project scope, conduct project planning, process mapping, set out and meet the milestones, schedules and tollgates and communicate status updates on a daily/weekly basis as is fit
- Manage program implementation, deliverables tracking, progress reporting, identify and communicate project risks, define mitigation strategies, manage resolutions/escalations, and in general, coordinate, facilitate and document workgroup meetings
- Take care of change requests, raise and document risks, perform dependency management responsibilities, track updates to in-house trading systems, and assist existing projects with "path to green".
- The successful candidate will be expected to assemble closure packages, collect artefacts, prepare ad-hoc reports, analytics and presentations
Qualifications:
- 5-14 years of experience in PMO roles in banking risk, data analytics or risk management functions PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or similar certification
- High degree of functional knowledge and acumen in risk management disciplines in a global bank environment (e.g., enterprise risk, credit risk, market risk, operational risk, risk identification, risk appetite, etc.)
- An understanding of banking regulations, risk management supervisory expectations in global setting and lines of business understanding of a large universal bank.
