Role : Project Manager (Special Initiatives Group)
Brief on the Role:
Project Manager will play a key role in supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) function for the Knowledge Transformation, working for the Group Manager. In this role, s/he will also work closely with stakeholder sub-teams; Global Managers/ team managers, staff and other functions. The Project Manager will be expected to provide insights and recommendations in addition to their project management role and will play a key part in changing our knowledge offerings to our clients and case teams. While the job includes a small component of traditional PMO responsibilities, the majority of work is project based and focused on making concrete and visible improvements within Company's knowledge organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and prioritize knowledge initiatives including developing work plans and team charters, clarifying priorities and creating an overall program plan
- Play lead role on specific projects including providing content input and making recommendations, planning, analytics support and/or developing presentations as needed
- Identify and resolve issues and provide guidance and support to working teams
- Monitor progress of teams and projects, review output and provide a summarized view of progress and milestones and issues
- Facilitate information flow via project structure
- Manage logistics; including planning key meeting schedules and establishing regular communication channels among team/efforts
- Ensure strong links across Knowledge transformation, Practice Areas and customers
- May be involved in other key initiatives and efforts as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's Degree or equivalent in business, or related field
- 2-4 years work experience in related field (Worked in corporate/strategic/special initiatives teams, change management within the organization)
- Ability to work effectively in a global environment with people at all organizational levels
- Some global travel required
- Applies strong business skills and strong business judgment
- Strong PowerPoint and presentations skills
- Problem solving, analytical skills and decision making
- Communication, interpersonal and teaming skills
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels through establishing positive, mutually respectful and productive working relationships
