PM - Banking/Insurance Operations

We are assisting one our MNC insurance client based out of Noida for Project Manager role.

Principal Responsibilities

- Manage the project taking into account integration across all areas.

- Developing the project plan

- Managing the project stakeholders

- Direct project resources.

- Monitor and manage the project schedule.

- Monitor and manage the project budget.

- Monitor and manage the project risk.

- Organize steering committee meetings; ensuring those minutes will be taken.

- Report to the steering committee, raising strategic issues.

- Prepare Project Status Reports and Project Change Requests for the steering committee.

- Ensure project meets requirements and objectives.

- Negotiate and resolve issues as they arise across areas of the project and where they impact on other activities, systems and projects.

- Look after the interests of the project team.

- Organize and chair project reference group meetings, as appropriate.

- Communicate project status to project sponsor, all team members, and other relevant stakeholders and involved parties.

- Maintain project documentation.

- Managing the project team

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:

- PMP certified with strong project management knowledge and ability to balance creativity and business risk while developing project solutions to deliver high quality and speed, and low cost.

- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project and - PowerPoint

- Individuals with Management Degree and Six Sigma Black Belt / Green Belt training would be clearly preferred

- Strong understanding of insurance & banking operations to accurately and practically relate project deliverables to organizational need

- Strong communication and presentation skills ; Ability to articulate and influence internal & external customers with clarity of thought process is a critical requirement

- Strong Leadership skills to collaborate and influence partner groups in achieving project objectives.

- Should be capable of dealing with relationships sensitively with ability to manage conflicts adroitly
