We, at Plum, have taken an audacious goal of growing to $1bn in insurance premiums in the next 3 years. We are looking for a leader to join us in this mission, own this goal and build/lead from the front.

The leader will build and manage the sales team, enable the team to deliver the targets, strengthen sales operations, and create future strategic plans with the goal of boosting revenue streams.

The ideal leader is someone who has demonstrated people leadership, business impact, but also has an immense hunger to make an impact.

What will you be doing :

- Ensure performance, strategy, and alignment of the organization's revenue-generating functions

- Build and manage a sales team that can drive business growth across all customer segments

- Build and foster creative teams committed to continuing our culture of innovation

- Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth

- Help sales team members close large & strategic deals

- Stay well-connected with customers to ensure broad market needs are being incorporated into the product development and enhancement cycle

- Identify and resolve issues across the marketing, product and account management functions

- Negotiate, negotiate, negotiate (we are in the business of insurance)

What we are looking for

- 10+ years of B2B Financial Services or insurance-related products

- 5+yrs of experience of selling to CHROs, CFOs and CEOs

- Grew a business from $1mn to $10mn in revenue as a leader of that team

- Has closed $1mn+ B2B deals on their own

- Hired 25+ sales people

- Managed a sales team of 50+

- Ready to be hands-on, work on deals, and lead from the front

- Ready to hustle (to be successful, we would need 150% of you)

- Ready to relocate to BLR
