Plum - Creative Head

We are looking for a Creative Head to join the Plum team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and directing all website design, social media assets, video, animation, infographics, emailers, photography, and other promotional assets. Reporting to the Head of Brand, s/he will look to heighten awareness and affinity for the Plum brand through visually powerful storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and supervise a team of graphic designers, illustrators, and video editors in the production of all web, print, and digital marketing collateral.

- Lead the Creative team to translate briefs into visually compelling output.

- Uphold the organisation to the highest brand standards ensuring all creative output adheres with brand guidelines.

- Create procedures to ensure consistency in design across all online and offline marketing channels.

- Review and approve creative development by the team, ensuring that deliverables effectively address objectives and challenges.

- Prioritise work and resources across engagements based on short and long-term needs, establishing production schedules.

- Conduct brainstorming sessions with the team on creative ideas that generate awareness for the Plum brand.

Requirements:

- 8-10 years of work experience in brand/marketing creative at an agency, including at least 2 years as a Creative/Art Head leading a team.

- Hands-on experience with logo design, typography, colour, layout, print production, image selection, prototyping, and social media assets.

- Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools.

- Understanding of trends and creative work in the B2B SAAS industry.

- Provision of your online portfolio with work samples that showcase your creative campaigns and design work, along with your role.

- Ability to take/give direction well and incorporate feedback.

- Willingness to roll up sleeves and execute specific projects/initiatives.

- Ability to balance big picture vision with attention to detail.

- Team player with strong communication and presentation skills.

- Degree, preferably in Design, Advertising or a related field.
