- PlaySpring is India's first Discovery Based Learning Program, conceptualized by Maverick Edutech Private Limited, a unique start up in the Early Childhood Education space in India. Started by two IIM Ahmedabad graduates and won many hearts and minds of schools, teachers, investors and innovators in the Education Space, PlaySpring offers Curriculum rooted in Discovery based Learning to Schools from K-5. Unlike many education services, Schools can run PlaySpring parallel to the existing curriculum in the School. Our vision is to create curated learning environments with effective stimulus, incorporate play using educational toys into regular curriculum, and form informed facilitators to reduce the widened gap between the way students are taught and the way they need to be taught in terms of both the scale and the intensity. - We are looking for a person who not just understands but lives in the world of finance, who can lead recording, managing, and growing finances on a day to day basis.

- Finance Head shall be responsible for keeping a track of working capital requirements, budgetary planning, cash flow management, financial negotiations with vendors, planning investments in and out of Maverick.

Responsibilities :

- Responsible for formulating annual business plan

- Responsible for budget review and take appropriate corrective action.

- Responsible for direct and indirect taxes

- Responsible to drive business process improvements and policy compliance

- Responsible for compliance and internal control system

- Responsible for commercial vetting of all contractual documents

- Responsible to dealing with banks for funding requirements

- Responsible to managing FOREX

- Responsible to develop investment policies

- Responsible to create and maintain a accounting

- Responsible to ensure relevant statutes are compiled in spirit.

- Exposure in finalizing the credit rating

Requirements :

- Passion for handling money

- Chartered Accountant and preferably Post Graduate in Management

- Experience of at least 5 years in working in/ handling finances

- Ability to derive deep insights from Data

- Experience of at least 5 years in building/ executing finance strategies for B2B businesses

- Ability to visualize things end to end and be able to come up with periodic metrics

- Excellent Presentation, Communication and Persuasion Skills
