Manager/Sr. Manager - Social Media Management
Games24x7 is seeking an experienced social media ninja to join its Corporate Affairs team as a Manager/Sr. Manager - Social Media Management to astutely manage and grow follower-base on the Games24x7 social media accounts across all relevant platforms . You would be expected to develop engaging, and relevant content in consonance with the underlying ethos, vision ,and values of the organisation.
The role may occasionally require strategic, and efficient promotion of content, but would predominantly entail putting out original posts of high quality and appeal, that generate traction organically.
You would be required to engage with our community, and influencers, respond appropriately to comments, and be the first point of escalation should a customer's concern be voiced through one of our social media platforms.
The candidate must possess the ability to keep track of best practices and developments in online skill gaming frameworks across platforms, and be able to put out recommendations that may be broadcast internally as well as externally.
This is a full-time position and will be based in our Mumbai office. The role will report to the Head of Public Policy and Media Platforms.
Responsibilities
- Running social media advertising/engagement campaigns across all major platforms
- Defining most important social media KPIs
- Staying up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
- Formulating high-quality novel written and visual content for each social media campaign
- Occasionally work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
- Building a social media presence through constant high quality engagement
- Monitoring the company's brand in terms of popularity and reputation on social media
- Building brand awareness by engaging with relevant influencers
- Monitoring SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization to copywriting teams
- Managing our online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement
- Proactively monitoring and responding to comments on each of our accounts
- Overseeing customer service and reactions of players provided via social media
- Analysing and presenting data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives
- Coaching employees company-wide on content creation best practices
- Curating content that may be posted off multiple handles including the company's leadership team.
Requirements:
- About 4 years social media marketing experience for reputed brands
- Stellar copywriting skills with ability to write
- Experience in developing and implementing social media strategies
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Experience with doing audience and consumer persona research
- Experience in coordinating and working with marketing and customer acquisition teams in order to achieve desired results
- Ability to develop the right tone and voice for each social media platform
- Proven ability to build social media communities
- Understanding of basic graphic design principles
- Ability to evaluate, measure, and present the success of campaigns
