Introduction and Role Summary

When a player makes a first deposit on Rummycircle, he becomes a cash player. The Retention team's role is to maximize the lifetime value from cash players by reducing attrition and increasing monetization from these players.

The Senior Analytics Manager will work in the Marketing Retention team at Play Games24x7. The main job of the Marketing Manager is to lead a team of analytics managers to improve player retention and RPU in order to increase player lifetime value and achieve monthly revenue targets within a prescribed budget and ROI goals. To meet targets, the Senior Analytics Manager will lead the team in coming up with actionable insights to be used in designing high-ROI promotions.

This optimization is achieved by doing round-the-clock analysis of data on player behavior (game play, promotion consumption, ). This analysis leads to important tactical and strategic decisions. Tactical decisions are about which campaigns should get a bigger share of the budget and which less. Strategic decisions are about using player behavior data to arrive at insights about the player decision making process. These insights feed into design of new promotional offers, identification of correct target segments and even changes to the core product, which would ultimately increase revenues.

The Senior Analytics Manager will undergo on-the-job training with the Marketing Retention Team to ensure a smooth transition into the position.

Detailed Job Description

1. To analyze/estimate impact of changes to product and promotions.

2. To come up with actionable insights to improve product experience and marketing offers.

3. To convert actionable insights into well-defined projects.

4. To understand underlying player behavior.

5. To work with the Product team and Technology team to execute these projects and measure their success.

Requirements

1. At least 2-3 years of experience in analytics.

2. At least 1 year experience in managing/leading teams.

3. Basic knowledge of digital marketing is preferable.

4. Good understanding of statistics, probability, segmentation techniques.

5. Exceptional logical and analytical skills

6. Strong ability to parse through data and detect patterns

7. Strong ability to convert patterns in data to test hypothesis

8. Good written and oral communication skills
