Role Brief:

This role will play a key role in our product development by creating state of the art architecture, design and delivering exceptional code. It will lead the design and development of our platform and infrastructure, working on projects that will allow wearing many hats and flex both technical development and collaborative communication skills. The main responsibility will be the development and implementation of Hotfoot's RAPID Ai Platform across our global customer base

Role & Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Product teams to design and implement robust, high-performance, data-driven solutions

- Participate and have shared ownership of the architecture and design of Rapid AI from the ground up, with a focus on extensibility, scalability, and security

- Solve complex problems with innovative and elegant design and delivery

- Develop and maintain internal components and libraries

- Integrate third-party technology into the Hotfoots tech stack

- Enforce coding standards and set a high standard for code quality

- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and development

- Lead team and manage projects to ensure timely and successful delivery

- Participate in the hiring process for new engineers, ensuring we build a strong and diverse team

Requirements:

- Solid Understanding of architectural patterns specifically microservices and design patterns

- Solid understanding of web standards, CSS-based design, cross- browser compatibility

- Expert in evaluating and choosing the right framework and tools for specific problems

- Solid Understanding of Open Source tools

- Expert knowledge in Vulnerabilities of web applications and ways to address them.

- Expert knowledge of Spring framework stack

- Export knowledge in RabbitMQ

- Expert knowledge in Prometheus, Graphana

- Expert knowledge of SQL and database design

- Expert knowledge of modern Javascript frameworks

- Experience with Git and version control

- Knowledgeable with software development lifecycles

- Must independently chart the roadmap of the platform

- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and leadership abilities

- Strong background in software engineering and/or architecture

- Comfortable taking ownership of projects and showcasing key accomplishments;

- Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work quickly and independently with minimal oversight

- Ability to accept feedback and constructive criticism positively
