Consumer Tech Role - Plant/Warehouse Finance

Warehouse Finance:

- Oversee all financial transactions related to warehouse operations, including invoicing, expense tracking, and account reconciliations.

- Ensure the accuracy of accounts payable and receivable ledgers.

- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and generate relevant financial reports.

- Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for the warehouse operations.

Inventory Management:

- Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring real-time updates in the inventory management system.

- Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

- Analyze inventory data to forecast demand, manage stock levels, and minimize holding costs.

- Implement inventory control procedures to prevent losses and improve turnover rates.

- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to align inventory with operational needs.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

- Prepare detailed financial analyses and reports to support decision making.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations and inventory management.

- Provide insights on cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.

- Develop financial models to evaluate the financial impact of various business scenarios.

Process Improvement:

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial and inventory management efficiency.

- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial and inventory operations.

- Train warehouse staff on financial and inventory management best practices.

Compliance and Governance:

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal financial policies.

- Maintain thorough documentation for all financial and inventory transactions.

- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with the finance, procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure cohesive management of financial and inventory processes.

- Act as a liaison between the warehouse and corporate finance teams to align financial reporting and compliance.
