Qualifications : Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent

Experience : Around 12-15 years of relevant industrial experience in a good

Position Summary

This main purpose of the position is to handle the technical as well as managerial responsibility relating to manufacturing of products at the plant, providing leadership to manufacturing and facility team, ensure productivity and quality of product at continuously reducing costs using tools e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Validation and others. Also, handle various projects, on need basis, as per business requirement.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Manufacturing Operations

Develop the Manufacturing Plan and establish procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and company quality standards.

Developing production scheduling across value streams as per S&OP and ensuring schedule compliance of products

Ensuring Good Documentation to meet all Quality System requirement

Monitoring operating efficiencies e.g. OEE wastage level etc. and driving continuous improvement in processes and metrics

Ensure that facility and sterilization function are operated and maintained well and align their long term plans with manufacturing plans.

Ensure maintenance of equipment and their continuous upgrade

Organize and direct resources to meet plans and budget

Monitor utilization of resources and reduce wastages

Budgeting and continuous cost improvement

Ensuring continuous upgrade of quality of products

Ensure maintenance of inventory in engineering stores at optimum level and driving spare part cost control and supplier management & rationalization

Driving Environment, Health & Safety practices in function in line with company norms

Ensuring all statutory, regulatory and corporate compliance in the functional area
