Plant Manager - Production Management

Job Summary:.

- Looking for an experienced Plant Manager to lead and oversee our Machine shop, assembly, and testing for large, engineered products.

- The ideal candidate will have 20 to 25 years of experience with a strong background in precision machining, assembly, and testing.

- Candidates should have grown through progressive roles, managing plant operations and workforce efficiently.

- This role requires technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and operational excellence to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities.

Plant Operations & Production Management.

- Strong expertise in assembly, testing, and machining processes for large-scale products.

- Oversee production process of large, engineered products, ensuring adherence to quality and delivery timelines.

- Manage precision machining operations for large components, maintaining accuracy and process efficiency.

- Experience preferably in large-scale manufacturing industries such as heavy engineering, defence, or industrial machinery.

- Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise production.

- Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

- Collaborate with engineering, design, and supply chain teams to streamline manufacturing processes.

- Strong understanding of project-based manufacturing and customer-driven production.

- Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, and other digital tools for operational management.

- Developing and implementing production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
