- Our clients are a leading Packaging Products Manufacturing organization. They have ambitious growth plans and have multilocational, profitable & growing operations.

- Our clients seek accomplished Manufacturing Operations Managers with experience in heading plant operations to take ownership of the Pondicherry Plant. Will be managing production, quality, maintenance, and safety. Must have strong strategic & operational experience. Will be based in Pondicherry and report to the Director.

- Will be expected to drive initiatives to transform the plant into a "Future-Ready" and modern Business setup.

- Ideal candidates must demonstrate high initiative, ownership, and integrity and possess a strong entrepreneurial drive and vision.

Job Role:

- Will be expected to head the Operations at the Unit level to meet best practices across the industry, which will further help the organization achieve its goal.

- Managing the manufacturing operations, productivity, safety, quality, maintenance, & regulatory affairs.

Job Description:

1. Managing plant operations & maintenance of the manufacturing facility.

2. Ensuring productivity, quality, cost, service, and safety targets for the manufacturing unit.

3. Conceptualizing, creating/ modifying, implementing, monitoring, and maintenance, re-viewing & upgrading operational procedures.

4. Managing effective resource utilization, minimizing yield loss, and processing waste at various manufacturing stages.

5. Manage monthly/quarterly performance reports and/or provide data to the Corporate team for the plant excellence/ improvements dashboard and metrics.

6. Support/ lead Site Process Engineers during the Improvement or Project assignments.

7. Improve cycle times.

8. Support site teams on Process Safety, Project, and contractor management.

9 .Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) & R&D teams & programs, translate them into commercial scale. Coordinate with Operational Excellence, EHS, SCM, BD, and Finance teams and align the needs with Unit / Company goals / KPIs.

10. Ensure compliance with audits

Candidate Profile:

1. Education: BE / BTech + preferably Management Qualifications (Full-time / Part-time).

2. Should have 7 - 15 Years of relevant experience.

3. Hands-on experience in Production & Plant Operations.

4 Excellent interpersonal, written & oral communication skills.

The position is expected to be closed in the next 4 weeks.
