As the Plant Manager, you will be heading the manufacturing unit of the company at Mysore. You will be responsible to direct and manage all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality and other production-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing team of the Head of the departments - production, maintenance, quality, shipping,stores etc and intervene as necessary
- Driving and achieving the assigned production targets, capacity utilisation, quality control, yield % etc.
- Managing Employee relations and union relations in collaboration with HR manager
- Developing and controlling profits, plans, and budget
- Implementing cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries
- Managing capital asset maintenance
- Establishing and monitoring overall plant performance for production and quality standards
- Controlling and minimizing labor overtime, premium freight and repair expenses
- Supporting continuous improvement processes to ensure safety, quality, cost, and customer service goals are met
- Incorporating shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrable work experience of 10-12 years in Foods/Beverages industry mandatory
- Male candidates preferred
- Graduate plus Diploma preferred
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Good judgmental skills with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Knowledge of Kannada is mandatory
- Excellent communication skills
Flexible for 6 days a week working structure
