Plant Manager - Auto/Mfg

Role Overview:

Role : Plant Manager

Company Name : all-round manufacturers of automobile interior products specially vehicle seats. (Japanese MNC)

Location : Kalol (70 - 75 km from Ahmedabad)

Role & Responsibility:

- New plant / product set up activities ( Plant Layout /Workstations Designs/Manpower Planning/Material Handling / Material Storage etc.).

- Capital equipment procurement, installations.

- Training & awareness to team members for Safety, 5s, Zero Defect Assembly of parts.

- Capacity planning, Time study of Assy. Cells & Line balancing to achieve norms.

- Implement Lean Manufacturing concepts & establish single piece flow in assembly lines.

- Design & Development of low cost Assembly Fixtures & Inspection fixtures to fulfill Production & Quality requirements with mistake proofing provisions & ergonomics.

- Co-ordination with External Agencies to meet above requirements.

- Logistics Planning & Packaging standards provided to meet inbound & Outbound logistics requirements.

- Establish standard production norms, cycle time.

- Scheduling production & process activities, Process VA-VE, Daily, Weekly & Monthly production planning according to the customer requirements with maximum utilization of 4M efficiency

Educational Qualification : B.E / B.Tech (Mandatory) from good University.
