Reporting to: Factory Personnel Manager

Experience:

Qualification: MBA/ Postgraduation in HR

Scope /Purpose of the Role:

- Assist the FPM in maintaining harmonious relations between management and labour

- Support the core negotiations team in carrying out the Long term agreements with unions

- Assist the GM - Factory Operations on HR related Projects at the unit level

- Carry out roles & responsibilities of Welfare Officer as laid out in Factories Act

- Plan & Monitor Unit HR Budgets, monthly dashboards, conduct employee engagement activities, L&D and execution of routine HR activities.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Employee Relations:

- To support the FPM and the ER team in the end-to-end LTA negotiation process with necessary calculations & inputs

- Co-ordinate & monitor the unit level ER activities and prepare monthly dashboards

- Ensure the maintenance of harmonious IR at the factory through regular stakeholder interactions

Audit & Compliance:

- Co-ordinate the various transactional, divisional & corporate audits at the unit level

- Ensure prompt compliance with legal, regulatory, and applicable statutory requirements through government online portals

- Maintain Compliance documentation for all the HR areas as per organizational policies & procedures (DASI & SOP)

- To review the "Proind" compliance portal & ensure all the necessary data is updated monthly within the given timelines

Business Partnering:

- Prepare and monitor the Unit HR Plan, budget and ensure the implementation of various cost control measures

- Maintenance of employee blueprint & implementation of SAP related changes

- Timely updation of HR data in ISDMS portal

- Conducting training sessions for the unionized workforce and anchoring the DHQ initiatives for the managerial staff at the unit level

- Co-ordinating various employee engagement initiatives at the Unit level

Welfare Activities:

- Administration of Welfare amenities including Canteen, Clinic, Welfare Centre, Society, washrooms etc.

- Organizing and tracking the actions related to statutory committee meetings at regular intervals viz., Grievance Redressal, Canteen committee etc

- Anchoring the Employee Lifecycle for Unionised employees from Hire to retire i.e., Recruitment, Training, Upskilling, Medical, Promotion, Retirals etc

- Preparing Annual Welfare Budgets for the Unit & owning the relevant procurements & AMCs relevant to Unit HR
