- Responsible for the provision of OJT training and Skill enhancement in support of the Business plans and Appraisals by coordinating with Training COE
Legal & Regulation:
- Communicating to plant management team and HR manager any changes and revisions to laws and regulations, court decisions, or arbitration decisions that may impact employee and labor relations.
- Support HR Manager on negotiations related to Union settlements
- Periodic update to Leadership on Local ER / IR scenario
- Legal & Statutory Compliance under various laws.
- Liaisoning with Government authorities and Non-
- Government authorities and maintaining very good rapport with them.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education Qualification: Master's degree in Human Resources or Social Work
- Professional Registrations and Certifications: Welfare Officer (is a plus)
- Language Requirements: English, Hindi, Bengali/Tamil
EXPERIENCE :
- Years of Experience: 8 - 10 years of plant HR experience
- Team management or supervisory experience of at least 3 years is a must
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- A team builder with excellent people skills; culturally sensitive and has the ability and interest to identify and work with a multicultural team
- Experience with the multinational organization is a plus.
- Unionization organization experience is a plus.
