HR Business Partner - Greenfield Project (Plant Location Head)


Experience : 6+ years


Education : MBA in HR or equivalent from a premier B-school

Role Summary:

- This position requires a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in setting up HR systems and processes for new manufacturing facilities (Greenfield projects). The ideal candidate will lead HR operations at the plant level, aligning HR strategies with the organization's goals to create a high-performing and compliant workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Strategy & Leadership:

- Align plant-level HR strategies with organizational objectives to ensure operational excellence.

- Serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership, providing insights and recommendations on HR initiatives to drive performance.

- Act as the point of contact for all HR-related issues at the plant location.

Talent Acquisition:

- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for plant roles, including workforce planning, sourcing, and onboarding.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely fulfillment of staffing requirements for the Greenfield project.

Employee Lifecycle Management:

- Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.

- Implement effective induction and training programs for plant employees.

Employee Engagement & Performance Management:

- Drive initiatives to foster a culture of engagement, productivity, and accountability.

- Lead performance management cycles, ensuring fairness and alignment with organizational goals.

- Develop and execute rewards, recognition, and career development programs.

Industrial Relations & Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to statutory and legal compliances related to labor laws and plant operations.

- Build and maintain positive relationships with labor unions (if applicable), addressing grievances and facilitating harmonious relations.

- Proactively manage any industrial relations challenges with a focus on risk mitigation.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:

- Champion DE&I initiatives at the plant, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Administration & Facility Management:

- Manage administrative functions, including facility management, transportation, and security for the plant workforce.
