Job Description - Reporting into the Plant Manager your responsibilities in this:
- Strive to get in-depth understanding of the site and its employees and have a proactive approach to any hindrances.
- Communicate and engage with site employees and oversee talent management and development activities
- Supervise compliance of statutory requirements under Factories and various Acts and Liaison with various Govt. Officials to stay current of laws, rules and regulations and act as the main interface between the Law Department and the India HR Department.
- Responsible for the IMS in terms of all documentation, Follow up of Actions from MOC, EHS Review, RCA, Leave management etc Responsible for the upkeep of the Site, Management of Canteen, Housekeeping, Gardening, Transport, Travel, Logistic Arrangements, petty Cash etc.
- Responsible for recruitment in coordination with the plant manager and ensure it is well staffed based on requirements. This includes vendor management for permanent staff as well as contractors.
- Develop and Own processes to ensure full legal compliance in HR/Admin areas at the manufacturing sites and carry out audits to ensure the same.
The Successful Candidate - You will have 5-10 years experience in a Plant HR role with strong experience in Industrial Relations coming from the manufacturing industry preferably (Chemical Industry with be an addition). You will be an effective communicator with fluency in Marathi and English.
