We are currently looking for a Plant HR Manager for one of the largest FMCG Business Conglomerates in India, to be based at their plant in Guwahati.

Job Profile :
Key Result Areas :
- HR Strategy and Planning: Prepare factory HR plan (e.g. manpower requirements, contract labor requirements, training initiatives etc.) at the start of the year based on inputs from factory team, historical trends etc
- HR Budgeting: Participate in consolidation of the factory budget with the factory team
- Track adherence to HR budget on a periodic basis and resolve issues
- Manpower Planning : Review and revise factory manpower requirements on a periodic basis
- Industrial Relations: Participate in meetings and more completion of meetings
- Communicate workman code of conduct and standing orders in the factory
- Conduct standing orders and work ethics related training
- Monitor and review standing orders compliance
- Employee Relations: Communicate employee code of conduct for managers
- Monitor overall employee relations as per the code of conduct
- Contract Labor Management: Review and finalize contract manpower requirements based on weekly manufacturing plan
- Plant Administration Management: Review and approve payroll records for workers
- Monitor timely payments of payroll to workers and related compliances
- Finalize administration (canteen, security) related vendor requirements
- Negotiate and finalize vendors
- Statutory Compliance: Select and coordinate with external agencies for statutory compliance
- Monitor and review timely compliance
- Lateral Recruitment (factory workforce): Provide guidelines on various recruitment sources to team
- Review screening test results
- Participate in second level interview process as a panel member
- Shortlist and finalize candidate
- On-Boarding and Induction: For workmen, ensure completion and sign off on joining formalities by the team and handover to respective department
- For managers at factory, monitor logistical requirements (travel, stay, seating formalities) for new joinee
- Send signed offer letter to HR team (HO) for employee code generation
- Conduct HR induction for factory department heads
- Compensation (factory workforce): Monitor and review survey administration
- Analyze and present survey findings/recommendations to HR head
- Finalize the workmen compensation strategy and structure along with HR head
- Benefits(factory workforce): Monitor and review survey administration
- Analyze and present survey findings/recommendations to HR head
- Communicate benefits details to workmen and resolve queries if any
- Training and Development(factory workforce): Identify and coordinate with external trainers as and when required
- Monitor and review training execution
- Analyze training feedback and effectiveness
- Performance Management(factory workforce): Conduct appraiser training at factory; Communicate process details to factory workmen
- Monitor and review performance appraisal implementation
- Provide inputs for final appraisal of workmen
- Normalize factory performance ratings
- HR Policy Design and Revision (factory workforce): Monitor and review policy implementation and resolve any issues/queries
- Communicate and implement changes in managerial HR policies at plant
- Rewards and Recognition(factory workforce): Monitor and review implementation of SGAs and reward mechanisms
- HR Information System: Conduct periodic reviews of personnel trends report prepared by the team and suggest changes if any
- Employee Engagement: Monitor and review implementation of the engagement initiatives
- Track effectiveness of initiatives undertaken
- Exit Management: Communicate resignation related details to relevant teams (factory, finance HO, HR HO etc.)
- Conduct exit interview with workmen
- Monitor completion of exit formalities (dues settlement, experience letter etc.)
Education: MBA / Post-Graduate Diploma In PMIR / HR/ MSW from reputable Institutes/ University with consistent academic performance. Candidate belonging from Assam will be required. Preferred institutes are-XLRI/ TISS/ SCMHRD/ SIBM/ MDI
Experience :
6-10 years of similar experience in a manufacturing facility, with at least 5 years relevant experience in handling Plant HR and IR.

Salary : Around Rs.28.0-32.0 Lpa
