Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process for plant-specific roles, ensuring timely hiring of qualified candidates.
- Oversee employee relations and ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Advise and support plant management on HR-related issues including performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
- Implement and monitor compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance with local regulations.
- Maintain HR records and prepare reports as required by management and statutory bodies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
- Act as a liaison between the plant and the corporate HR function based in Mumbai.
Key Skills And Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in local language (mention specific local language) is essential.
- Proven work experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
