About our Client:
Our client is a amongst the largest manufacturers of steel and supply to the Automobile and Engineering sectors. They have a very strong presence in the India market and currently operate with a non-unionized work force. They are looking for a Plant HR Manager to manage end to end Industrial Relations and HR Operations for the Plant in Aurangabad.
Job Description:
Reporting to the Head-HR, in this role, you will:
- Plan the overall Plant HR strategy to deliver business results for 500 full time + 800 contract employees
- Manage the time office, contractors, house keeping, safety matters in addition to dealing with local government offices
- Create a growth oriented work culture through development of employee and organization capability
- Successfully resolve and handle IR Plant related issues
- Manage the statutory compliances, labor laws, tools to handle grievances and drive awareness for the same among the business heads
- Take charge of all trade union relationships as well as relationships with the media and government
- Drive end to end HR generalist activities for the Plant
The Successful Candidate:
- You will come with 8-12 years of total experience in managing Plant IR and HR activities.
- Managing the time office, all safety matters, dealing with the local government and end to end personnel management is essential for this role.
- You will be fluent in speaking Marathi, apart from English. Exposure to managing a unionized work force is required.
