A large business house with diverse manufacturing portfolio is looking for an HR leader for one of its plant.

The plant HR Head is part of the management team at the plant and has a key role in driving the organization's success. The role involves management and strategic oversight of all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and managing the highest employee and labour standards.

The position fosters a positive and productive workplace culture, ensures high employee engagement and retention, and implements effective HR policies and practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Strategic HR Planning: Blueprint for Success: Crafting HR Strategies to Achieve Plant Objectives. Guide HR policies, programs, and initiatives to support the plant's strategic priorities.

- Lead recruitment efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.

- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

- Pioneer performance management encompasses objective setting, performance evaluations, and tailored development pathways.

- Foster robust employee relations frameworks, adeptly navigating conflicts and fostering a conducive work atmosphere.

- Architect and administer compensation and benefits frameworks to ensure competitiveness and equity.

- Provide leadership and guidance on organizational development and change management initiatives.

- Oversee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.

- Lead HR analytics and reporting to provide insights for decision-making and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and promote a cohesive organizational culture.

- Stay updated on HR best practices, trends, and legal requirements to ensure compliance and relevance.

Qualifications and Experience

- Master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field.

- Minimum of 20 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 10 years in a manufacturing environment. Managed a large workforce of 4000+ in a manufacturing setup (incl. blue-collared employees)

- In-depth knowledge of factory laws, labor laws, and regulatory compliance in India.

- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
