Job Title: Plant HR Head

Location: Bellari, Karnataka

Job Summary:

- The Plant HR Head is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing all human resources functions within the manufacturing plant.


- This includes driving HR strategy, optimizing talent management, fostering a positive organizational culture, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting plant operational objectives.


- The HR Head will be instrumental in aligning human resource practices with business goals, managing a team of HR professionals, and collaborating with plant leadership to enhance overall plant performance through effective HR management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the HR strategy aligned with the plant's overall business goals, in coordination with senior leadership.

- Implement effective workforce planning strategies to address current and future staffing needs, taking into account production schedules and operational demands.

- Address and resolve employee issues, grievances, and conflicts swiftly, ensuring a fair and transparent approach.

- Develop and promote training and development programs that enhance employees' skills, safety awareness, and productivity.

- Ensure the plant complies with all relevant labor laws, health and safety regulations, and corporate policies.

- Maintain and update knowledge of local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations, ensuring timely implementation of any required changes.

- Ensure that the plant environment is compliant with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.

- Regularly assess employee satisfaction and well-being through surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one feedback sessions.

Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.

- Master's degree in HR Management or Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum of 20-25 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 10 years in a senior or leadership role in a manufacturing environment.

- Extensive experience in managing large-scale HR operations within a plant or factory setting.

- Proven track record in driving HR strategy and initiatives that have supported business objectives.

Skills:

- Deep knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices, particularly within manufacturing or industrial sectors.

Environment:

- Manufacturing plant environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and industrial settings.

- Occasional travel may be required to corporate offices or other plant locations.

Schedule:

- Full-time position with flexibility to respond to urgent HR matters during off-hours or weekends as needed.
