Roles and Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Planning:
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the overall business goals and objectives of the plant.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, programs, and initiatives to support the plant's strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with plant leadership to identify and address HR needs and priorities.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee the plant's recruitment and selection processes to ensure the hiring of qualified candidates in a timely manner.
- Implement and manage effective onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Develop and implement talent management strategies, including succession planning, career development, and performance management.
- Work closely with plant management to identify and address employee development needs and opportunities.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters, ensuring effective communication and addressing concerns.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement.
- Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement, morale, and well-being.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee the plant's compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive and equitable pay structures.
- Manage the administration of employee benefits, such as insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to make recommendations for enhancements or changes to the compensation and benefits programs.
HR Systems and Processes:
- Develop and implement HR systems and processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of employee records, data, and documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with HR technology trends and suggest improvements to maximize the effectiveness of HR systems.
Compliance and Ethics:
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Promote ethical behavior and integrity throughout the plant, upholding company values and standards.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams as required to address HR-related legal matters.
