Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition & Recruitment: Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes for both blue-collar and white-collar employees.
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Handle employee onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and separations.
- Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal systems, provide feedback mechanisms, and develop performance improvement plans (PIP).
- Training & Development: Identify training needs, collaborate with departmental heads for skill development programs, and ensure the continuous professional growth of employees.
- Employee Engagement & Welfare: Develop and execute engagement strategies to improve workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
- Labor Law Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations like Factories Act, Minimum Wages Act, Provident Fund, ESI, and other local labor laws.
- Union Relations: Manage union negotiations, handle grievances, and maintain a harmonious relationship between management and labor.
- Disciplinary Actions: Handle employee grievances and initiate disciplinary actions when required.
- General Administration: Oversee plant administration functions, including security, housekeeping, transport, and canteen management.
- Vendor Management: Handle procurement and maintenance of services related to admin functions like transportation, accommodation, and facility upkeep.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards, conduct safety audits, and facilitate plant inspections in coordination with the EHS team.
- Manpower Planning: Work closely with the leadership team to ensure optimal workforce planning aligned with business goals.
- HR Policy Implementation: Assist in formulating and implementing HR policies in line with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Budgeting: Manage HR and Admin budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high service standards.
- Ensure that the plant complies with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Liaise with external legal counsel as required and manage compliance audits and inspections.
