Position Overview:

The Plant Head is a full-time on-site role for a plant located in Sinnar, Nashik (Maharashtra). The Plant Head will oversee plant operations, production planning, production management, quality control, health and safety. The role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to ensure smooth operations and achieve production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations.

- Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.

- Experience in handling inflow/outflow of material and manpower.

- Responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.

- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.

- Perform regular inspections on all machinery and advice about machinery performance & maintenance.

- Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.

- Collect and analyze data to identify processes and optimize the process cycle.

- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on Investments.

- Build a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop staff.

- Follow safety measures and commit to plant safety procedures.

- Prepare various MIS as per management requirements.

- Oversee budgets, financial performance, and profitability of the assets.

- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and central Government regulations for all activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

- 15-20 years of experience in Plant Operations, Production Planning, Quality Control and Production Management

- Knowledge of the latest production management best practices and concepts.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

- Experience in the Surface Treatment plant is preferred

- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Good leadership and management skills
