About Our Client:

Our client is a prominent manufacturer of high-precision gears and auto parts, renowned for their unwavering commitment to quality and innovation. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Gajraula seeks a seasoned and qualified Plant Head to spearhead their production operations.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of plant operations at our client's Gajraula facility, including production planning, scheduling, and execution.

- Ensure the efficient and timely production.

- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to meet stringent industry standards.

- Lead and motivate a team of production personnel, including supervisors, operators, and engineers.

- Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the plant, leveraging methodologies like TPM and Six Sigma.

- Identify and implement cost-saving measures to optimize production efficiency through advanced data analysis using Excel.

- Manage the plant budget, ensure adherence to financial targets, and utilize LAN management skills for effective network oversight.

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in gear and auto parts manufacturing.

- Liaise with other departments, such as engineering, quality control, and sales, to ensure smooth production flow.

- Effectively and efficiently manage the production of the required daily/weekly/monthly targets in line with customer specifications, meeting quality and delivery expectations, minimizing costs where possible and ensure the required best working practices are maintained at all times

- Responsible for Overall Plant operational activities, ensure the target productivity level is achieved daily.

- Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports.

- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.

- Manage, coach and develop a high performing manufacturing team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements

- Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures. Internal & External audits, Customer Audits, ISO, IATF, VDA, RBA, etc..

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Masters preferred).

- Minimum 16+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in the gears or auto parts industry.

- Proven track record of leading and managing a large production team with a focus on exceeding production goals.

- In-depth understanding and demonstrable experience in applying Lean Manufacturing principles, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and Six Sigma methodologies.

- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for data analysis, reporting, and process optimization.

- Strong understanding of LAN management principles and ability to oversee plant network operations.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment and thrive under pressure.

- Should be in a Plant Head position currently, Good exposure of machining process, experience in gear manufacturing will be preferred

- Leadership Qualities and ability to get work done, Should have a team approach and maintain open communications

- Experience in IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Certified Cos, most desired
