Plant Head - Manufacturing

Position - Plant Head.

Qualification - MBA.

Job Role

Drive plant to exceed and maintain required service performance to customers by proper supply chain set up, timely execution of required production plan, implementation of RCA and related corrective actions and effective component supply mgmt.

- On weekly basis plan production resources to adapt capacity to the output required.

- Make sure weekly inter-functional meetings are run, to analyze and address with concrete action plans: volume, mix, materials, sourcing, quality and productivity issues.

- Monitor the efficiency of the workforce measuring output versus cycle time required and right sizing of the manufacturing crew.

- Coordinate Product Care, Sourcing, Production, Quality and Manufacturing Eng to implement and modify materials, tools and processes to improve product quality and manufacturing process efficiency.

- Lead production line moves and/or new product introduction by coordinating all the related aspects (quality, materials, tools, product line layouts, processes,..) to assure product manufacturability.

- Use six sigma best practice to analyze data, investigate root causes, plan and execute actions involving inter-functional team.

- Lead Sourcing, Mfg. Engineering, Production and Logistic activities to meet plant objectives on total Cost Reduction.

- Lead Sourcing and Quality to implement a supplier evaluation and certification program.

- Lead implementation of Lean Manufacturing in the plant.

- Manage Product Innovation, Product Care, Product Mgmt., Sourcing to implement and modify materials, tools and processes in order to guarantee timely introduction of new products.

- Support year over year Cycle Times reduction

- Guarantee Inventory Integrity.

- Guarantee the product are manufactured respecting the international standard required for safety and certification (CE marking, ISO- );

- Hire, Provide Training, Set Performance Expectation to help the organization in reaching the expected performances, grow and retain talents.

- Guarantee that proper training and instructions are provided to the operators to properly manufacture the Products required in respect of Safety and Quality.

- Guarantee compliance to Sidel global standards for Environment Health and Safety, Business Conduit, Integrity, Sourcing, Engineering, Product Supply.
