Plant Head - Logistics - Construction Firm

Experience: 12 to 15 years Not More than 20 years

Age: Not more than 45 years.

Should have exposure to Primary and secondary operations of Logistics - ideally with an Integrated Unit or Grinding Unit.

Major Challenges:

1. Vendor Development

a) To shift focus from vendor selection to vendor development.

b) To enable vendors to use technological initiatives for attaining the common objective of service differentiation.

2. Vendor Management

a) Making a transporter to invest in the new fleet in line with organizational requirement

3. People Development

a) To educate existing and new resources on various Supply Chain concepts and mentor then in their roles for improved performance in existing roles and develop them for complex/higher roles in the function

b) Drive the team for improved usage of IT systems

4. Logistic Operations

a) Ability to handle dynamic and contingency situations by taking logical decisions balancing between Organisation/ Vendor and the Customer objective
