Plant Head - Injection Moulding - Manufacturing Firm

We are looking for Plant Head professional for a leading German manufacturing company in Pune.

Key Responsibilities : Plant Head

- Ideate and implement strategic improvements for production, quality, and labour utilization throughout the facility

- Provide leadership to ensure effective utilization of plant personnel and equipment

- Collaborate with functional departments in the implementation of improvements

- Investigate and implement innovative manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve product quality

- Apply lean manufacturing principles in designing, specifying, and validating world-class manufacturing processes that achieve organizational goals

- Overall smooth functioning of Plant Operations

- Overall responsible for producing safe products at controlled conditions for production moulding & post moulding dept.

- Maintenance of all IMS records of productions, Machine & mould maintenance.

- Responsible for performance of production as per daily production plan.

- Follow up for continual improvement activities in all reporting dept.

- Initiate corrective & preventive action to prevent non-conformance related to product & process.

- Ensure adherence to defined Standard Operating Procedures and safety standards. Co-ordination all quality functions & assurance of specified quality of products & services.

- Identifying & reviewing non-conformity related to products at every stage.

- Monitoring the IMS objective related to their work & taking appropriate actions to improve them.

- Ensure that all equipment's are installed as per Group standard and maintain highest level of GMP on shop floor.

- Responsible for monitoring physical hazards during maintenance, awareness of CCP's.

- Overall responsible for implementation and monitoring food safety management systems principles, CCP identification & monitoring process.

- Overall responsible for product identification & traceability.

- Establish & maintain positive relationship in plant.

- Responsible for the training of all Shop floor employees. Review & conduct FSMS shop floor training programs.

- Mentor all Managers/Plant Supervisors in all areas such as problem solving, equipment issues and goal achievement.

- Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards

- Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping

- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results

- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus

- Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions

- Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff

- Collect and analyse data to find places of waste or overtime

- Commit to plant safety procedures

- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets

- Address employees' issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements Influence and learn from below.
