Head Human Resources - Plant

Position Summary :

To manage workforce capability and capacity through Manpower Planning, Recruitment, Training & Development and Change Management. To manage the administration of the plant, roll out and implement engagement plans for the employees, Work Structure optimization. To align with the Motors Corporate HR and enable execution of Human Capital Strategy.

To support High performance work culture through PACT.

To facilitate Strategy Implementation and Business Excellence in the organisation.

Job Specifications :

Education Qualifications : MBA / B. Tech. (preferably)

Communication Touch points

External : Contractors, Govt. Agencies, Consultants, other Group Co's

Job Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement Human Capital Strategy aligned to aggregate business strategy

- Drive Human Management Processes for White Collar & Blue Collar employees, as appropriate, for Learning & Development, Talent Management, Talent acquisition, Succession Planning, Rewards and Recognition, Employee Engagement, Performance Management and Suggestion initiatives

- Long Term and Short term Manpower Planning (Permanent, Flexible workforce, Contracted workforce) and budgeting aligned to the AOP.

- Manpower optimization through Productivity improvements

- Wage cost reduction measures, Organisational effectiveness and redesign, Role clarity, Cross functional structure build up, job rotation

- HR IT based employee database maintenance (for both white collar & blue collar) employees

- Ensure prompt resolution of employee grievances

- Maintaining cordial management-employee relation, introducing Management Charter of expectations for negotiating win - win settlements with Union.

- Ensure adherence to legal / statutory norms with respect to labor laws / factory / Labor acts and practices prevalent in India

- Ensure necessary Administrative Support - General Administration and Housekeeping

- To facilitate the Business Excellence Model in the organisation through Strategy Implementation Workshops, development of Scorecards, MBE, participation in various fora of the Group companies, development of assessors and ensure employee awareness.

- Provide business unit level support for organizational initiatives
