Plant Head - Food Domain - FMCG

Job Description:

-The Plant Head will be responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process for the production of biscuits within the organization.

- This role involves ensuring efficient, cost-effective production while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to health and safety regulations.

- The Plant Head will lead a team of professionals and collaborate with various departments to achieve production targets and optimize overall operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

- Supervise daily operations to ensure timely production and adherence to schedules.

- Implement production plans to meet customer demand and maintain quality standards.

- Streamline production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Quality Assurance:

- Ensure all products comply with company quality standards and regulatory requirements.

- Develop and maintain quality control systems to ensure product consistency.

Budget and Cost Control:

- Develop and manage the plant's budget.

- Monitor and control production expenses, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.

- Identify cost-saving measures without compromising product quality.

Maintenance and Equipment Management:

- Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of all machinery and equipment.

- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize production downtime.

Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities to enhance production processes and implement innovative improvements.

- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to drive operational excellence.

Reporting and Documentation:

- Prepare and present reports on production performance, quality metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
