Plant Head - Chemicals/Petrochemicals

Qualification : Bachelors of Engineering; Master in Business Administration

Experience : 20-25 Years in Chemicals / Petrochemicals Plant

Experience in CP (Continuous Polymerisation is must)

Job Description:

- To coordinate, control, monitor of all process related activities for POY, PSF, DTY and CP - operations and maintenance.

- Conceptualization, Formulation and Execution of strategies to meet company's manufacturing objectives.

- To undertake production planning for all operation units and achieve targeted conversion ratios of production, waste and quality.

- Channalise all resources for Productivity improvement, Waste management, Cost containment initiatives.

- To develop appropriate and effective systems in close coordination with marketing function to address customer expectations regarding product quality, requirement, and deficiencies

- Coordination for new product development and improvement in customer satisfaction related to product quality.

- To work in close coordination with Finance & Materials functions to ensure timely procurement of spares, raw materials at competitive prices etc.

- Effective budget management, purchase and contract negotiation, vendor relations.

- Monitor adherence to quality, safety and environment standards.

- Identify, adopt and monitor new technologies, systems, etc.

- Interact with external bodies on critical issues regarding statutory requirement
