Plant Head - Agro-Chemical Business

- Leadership responsibility for the overall plant operations to make sure all plant functions operate optimally to achieve the business objectives.

- To plan, direct, organise, coordinate, control all the functions of the unit, with specific focus to the Engineering, Production, Procurement and Logistics.

- Responsibility for operational efficiency, process improvements, governance and compliance (as per both internal and external guidelines) within the plant.

- To ensure that all the departments of the units are functioning properly and effectively in order to achieve the organizational objectives.

- To ensure that budgeted volume of production is achieved within the budgeted cost of the year.

- To ensure the quality of the product and the plant. To manage all the legal and statutory compliance of the unit

- Managing quality standards as per benchmark / standards set

- Managing yield ratio for various products.

- Managing wellbeing, Training & Development of team members

- Proactively plan and suggest enhancements/ maintenance for production infrastructure

- Managing PPC functions [Production Planning and Control]

- Taking corrective steps for customer complaints

- Conducting trial for new products / custom synthesis and make sure it reaches to commercial production

- Taking initiatives for CI, reducing waste and energy consumption

- Train and validate plant operators and engineers (as per need)

- Responsible for wellbeing of production facility.

- Responsible for reports of PPC [Routing, estimating, scheduling, dispatching, follow up, inspecting, and evaluating in given formats] and MIS of Daily production reports. Material management reports. By-products reports

- Managing over operations involved in production planning including, manpower management, supplies and up-time of equipment.

- Overseeing production of various chemicals, implementing plans with a view to ensure timely accomplishment of production targets within the cost parameters

- Ensuring effective utilization of resources like men and machine to achieve production targets as per standard operation practices

Qualification And Experience:

i. 18-25 years in Agrochemical & Pesticides formulation as well as Analysis.

ii. Leadership experience in a similar role in & knowledge of Chemicals/Agro plants & be able to value add to the role.

iii. Knowledge of daily, monthly man power planning & scheduling

iv. Knowledge of all unit operation

v. Coordination with all concern dept

vi. Supervise and motivate a team of workers.

vii. Review worker performance and identify training needs.
