Plant Environment Head - Manufacturing Plant

Major Responsibilities:

- Obtain all statutory clearances related to the environment.

- Ensuring compliance with environmental legislations.

- Assessing, analyzing and collating environmental performance data

- Managing environment strategy budgets.

- Liasoning & regular coordination with statutory bodies related to the environment to make them updated about the compliance status.

- Ensure timely submission of environment related compliance reports/returns (Monthly / Half-yearly / Annual).

- Regular identification of acts / incidents deviating in environment management beyond the norms and address the same for mitigation.

- Strengthen the department for more vigil & conducting HIRA for major hazardous activities & root cause analysis.

- Carry out periodic review of plan vs. actual and prepare corrective action plan.

- Review of SOP & accordingly prepare SWP and create awareness through training & display boards, Fire Risk Assessment.

Person specification:

- 15-20 years of experience in driving EHS of a large manufacturing plant

- Must have experience of working in large manufacturing setups

- Excellent people management skill
