Plant Engineering Head

Position Objective :

To consolidate the engineering function in the plant to drive preventive/predictive maintenance through system deployment and move from as is to planned and world class maintenance, Actively involved in the supervision and coordination of Breakdowns, PM, RCM, MTBF and MTTR.

- Identify, establish, and maintain relationship with variety of best vendors of inexpensive supplies to ensure timely and accurate receipt and keep current inventory of all required spare parts.

- Utilize vendor knowledge to help in assessing plant changes or upgrades.

- Control Direct and Indirect cost for the plant from the Engineering prospective

- Monitor all plant systems, noting new or different procedures / techniques that may improve areas of maintenance and/or operations; coordinate changes with Plant Manager

- Respond with immediate action to plant issues

- Communicate constantly with production and Plant Manager to ensure agreement on daily priorities.

- Delegate and ensure completion of all projects and daily responsibilities of maintenance personnel.

- Guide maintenance team through Process Improvement projects.

- Mediate human resource issues among staff as they occur.

- Ensure cross training of maintenance personnel to handle all areas of maintenance

- Lead the process improvement projects in the plant

- Looking for candidates from process industry having exposure of Utility and Project.

- Must possess knowledge of all facility equipment (such as boilers, chillers, compressed air, HVAC, electrical, roofing, etc.) and the supporting utilities like ETP within a facility.

- Must have knowledge of a validated maintenance preventive maintenance system.

- Experience with PLC, CMMS and Controls systems desirable.

Qualification : B.Tech/B.E (Mechanical/chemical/electrical) OR M.Tech/ME (industrial/process)

Note : Marathi language is must.
