About our Client - A global market leader in the pharmaceutical industry, our client manages some of the most iconic brands within the market. Their brands include a number of household names and they have a fantastic reputation globally. Over 100 years in the market and working in across 50+ countries, they have been growing their presence in India. They are looking for a high caliber individual to lead and be part of a green field Plant set up.

Job Description - This role would be reporting to the Group CFO, as it is essential to the organization and would be managing a team of 8 individuals. Amongst the many responsibilities some are listed below:

- Stepping into a lead role managing operational performance and forecasting on budgets for the set up of the manufacturing plants

- Commercial approvals on getting the contractors to begin the assignment

- Key person in managing the costing division and planning and providing financial assistance to the plant

- Playing a key role in preparing the section budgets for the plants and challenging financial and business processes to improve the effectiveness of the division

- Identifying the main cost drivers for further productivity potential

The Successful Candidate -

- You are a Chartered Accountant with 6+ years experience and are currently working as a Plant Controller with an global FMCG/Pharmaceutical business.

- You are confident in leading a business financially and be responsible for the growth of the company.

- A proven track record across financial accounting experience and ideally a few years managing and supporting the operations and manufacturing side of the business.

- You are a confident and effective team player who is able to command respect and effectively communicate with management and peers.

- You have strong track record of success in commercial negotiation and ideally have been involved in the set up of another plant.
