Assistant Manager Sales or Segment Manager
Requirement of Assistant Manager- Sales / Segment Manager.
Educational Qualifications :
- BE/DIPLOMA-Mechanical or Electrical
- MBA Preferred but not mandatory
Experience :
- Relevant experience of 6-7 years. Experience in dealing with manufacturing organizations especially, automotive OEM- S or suppliers will be helpful to the applicant.
- Currently handling pan India or at least a regional role with a business volume of 5-10 Crs.
General :
- Candidates should be 25-30 yrs and from Maharashtra. Candidate should be soft spoken and able to communicate in English. After Placement candidate will undergo training with Head office & Factory in Pune.
Reporting Hierarchy- Matrix :
- Reporting to Business Head
- Work closely with proposals, projects & design departments
Computer Proficiency :
Candidate should have knowledge of Basic Computer, should be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel.
Competencies required :
- Business Development
- Be complete in-charge of his business segment.
- Identify the list of all potential customers in his segment pan-india.
- Make strategy/plan to penetrate them.
- Showcase in action and build compelling presentations and actively engage in prospecting.
- Make regular contact with key accounts to keep track of new requirements and maximize/increase business from them.
- Plan marketing activities like-Exhibitions, seminars, training, informal meets for customers in his segment.
- Work closely with Field sales Engineers to generate new enquiries and track developments in respective locations.
- Work closely with Field sales engineers to ensure customer satisfaction in his segment.
Enquiry And Proposal :
- Generate and maintain flow of enquiries in accordance with order booking TARGETS.
- Upon receipt of RFQ/enquiry have preliminary technical discussion to understand the requirement clearly.
- Collect all necessary inputs data and ensure the information is readily workable by proposals team.
- Qualify the enquiry (understand need, budget, urgency) and follow the sales process.
- Be a part of the proposals team in preparing attractive and compelling proposals and presenting them effectively.
- To verify costing to ensure it is accurate and all cost elements are considered.
- Prepare quote in SUGAR and update status regularly by close follow-up
Commercial Activity :
- To ensure good margins on all orders.
- To negotiate and finalize all orders with all terms and conditions favorable and acceptable to both TOX and customer.
- To ensure all terms are finalized before committing the final price.
- To review the purchase order as per quote and finalization and ensure no discrepancy before forwarding for order booking.
- To ensure timely collection of advances and all outstanding to reduce ageing.
- To ensure collection of BG- S after expiry of validity.
- To ensure collection of all C forms and other statutory exemption forms/certification a timely basis.
General Requirements :
- Monthly/weekly reporting, Forecasts.
- Review and updation of enquiry status in SUGAR.( Customer relationship/sales module )
- Conduct Kick-off meetings for all major projects and ensure a smooth handover to design/projects team.
- Strong CRM.
- Analysis of loss and wins and timely reporting of same to management.
- To constantly seek to update technical/commercial skills and knowledge.
- Take full responsibility and accountability of his segment and customers
- Constantly think of ideas to expand business and customer base of his segment and add new applications.
- To be able to work un-supervised as much as possible.
- Should have no inhibitions in travelling PAN India based on requirement & need
