Planning Head - Infrastructure Group

Opening for a Planning head role with one of our clients which is a leading group in the construction of roadway, highway, railway and Building projects based at Bhubaneshwar head office.

Mandatory requirements:

- Proficient in project Scheduling on MS Project

- Experience in Project Co-ordination

- Proficient in Resource planning (3M - Men, Machine & Materials)

- Proficient in Work programme preparation and baseline schedules

- Day to day Project monitoring & control, generation of red flags in time

- Identification of risks & mitigation plan

- Review of construction drawings & construction methodology

- Material reconciliation

- Resource utilization analysis

- Coordination with senior management during departmental reviews, pointing out the existing issues/challenges and suggesting solutions to them (For Planning head)

- Coordination with clients and maintaing a healthy relationship with them (70% for planning head and 30% for planning manager)"

Preferred requirements :

- Execution experience with Roads, Railways, Bridges, Building, Pipelines, etc

- Billing preparation experience

- Interpretation of contractual documents

- Keep self updated with latest technology & trends in the industry

- Cost monitoring & control

- Monitoring of multiple sites at a time

- Sub-contractor management

- Tendering activities

- Vendor development experience would be an added advantage

- Practical experience of working in Primavera"
