Global Procurement and Planning COE (Planner/Buyer)

Responsibilities:

- Utilizing ERP systems (such as SAP and SAP/APO) to develop production plans.

- Planning OEM and/or Manufactured Product portfolios, maintaining forecast performance and stock levels.

- Purchasing materials following business guidelines, maintaining vendor masters, and evaluating new suppliers.

- Reviewing purchase requisitions and ERP output for appropriate information and approvals.

- Communicating with suppliers regarding product information, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.

- Managing purchase orders, resolving order status discrepancies, and coordinating with internal stakeholders.

- Resolving invoice discrepancies with suppliers and managing invoicing approvals.

- Coordinating defective and returned materials with suppliers and Quality Assurance.

- Managing P-cards for invoicing approvals.

- Coordinating office supply ordering and replenishment.

- Compiling and distributing reports and databases related to inventory, purchase orders, and suppliers.

- Developing and administering reports and databases to support various business functions.

- Analyzing data and structuring reports, requiring analytical and computer skills.

- Hybrid role with mandatory office work for 3 days per week.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Reviewing licensing or other similar functions associated with material procurement, MRP/ERP systems, and vendor requirements as necessary.

- Traveling to vendor locations or other company sites as needed.

- Cross-training into other areas as required.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree desired, with 1-3 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.

- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the life sciences sector.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP/Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Highly effective time management skills.

- Commitment to customer excellence and integrity.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
