This role will be a part of the Master's program team at Plaksha. It will be responsible for driving the entire range of admissions activities to select high-quality candidates. The role involves coordinating with the Program Team to develop rubrics for shortlisting applicants, managing the interview schedules, and ensuring offers are rolled out in a timely fashion.

Reporting to: Dean Academics

Key Responsibilities:

Admissions Operations:

- Create and execute the annual admissions plan, ensuring efficient coordination throughout the admissions cycle.

- Ensure timely data updates in the admissions system, maintain relevant trackers, and ensure all processes are consistently followed.

- Exercise independent judgment in evaluating applications and conducting thorough reviews of transcripts and application forms.

- Coordinate with faculty members for admission interviews.

- Provide timely and accurate data, reports, and insights on admission statistics for management review and decision-making.

- Provide inputs for updating application materials, web-based content, handbooks, policies, and procedures.

- Actively participate in campus events such as open houses, outreach, and retention initiatives to enhance student recruitment.

- Contribute to retention activities for ensuring cohort intake.

- Nurture leads on the admission portal through counselling and follow-ups.

Education and Experience:

- Minimum of 2+ years in customer service roles.

- Experience in admission roles is nice to have but not mandatory.

Skills:

- Excellent organization, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot, and deal with issues/challenges in administrative operations.

- Working knowledge of standard office software, including Microsoft Office.

- Familiarity with digital communications, spreadsheet, and database software.

- Strong customer service skills.
