Our client is one of the leading Agri-Tech companies in the country with an innovative range of products & solutions. Funded by some of the best names in the industry, they have a strong presence across India. The organization is looking to establish its presence in the online space and seeks an experienced candidate to lead the team and take the initiative ahead. This channel will have an independent P&L led by this person.

Description:

Reporting to the Business Head, you will be responsible for:

- Owning the Growth and PnL of E-Commerce business

- Leading the sub-verticals and building strong systems.


- Creating Annual forecast plans and resource planning to achieve verticals' targets.


- Build sustainable processes with the help of strong management and fast experiments.


Profile:

MBA / PGDM or any other equivalent Masters degree (preferable) with B.Tech. or Bachelors Degree (must). Ideal candidate could be someone who has managed own portal and marketplaces and scaled the business. Alternately, the candidate could also be heading D2C business and ecommerce for a startup/established brand with experience in scaling up the channel extensively. The person should understand the nuances of marketplace marketing, demand generation for own portal and have a very sound capability to research and gather consumer insights

Experience of managing business targeted towards rural market is a must. Sound communication skills & outstanding analytical skills besides strong expertise in interpreting results and deriving insights is important. Excellent team management skills and ability to drive a cross functional team to deliver excellence is a must.
